Call For Entries - Themed Exhibitions
Starting in the latter part of 2008 and continuing into 2009, BWS will be doing a variety of themed exhibitions. Details for each show will be made available to artist wishing to submit an application. All artists will be welcome to participate, however, some exhibits will have age restrictions. For those that don't I personally encourage artists under 18 to submit an application, with parental consent, for I will be looking to have a significant amount of participation from younger artists.
Most themed exhibitions will have awards for best in show, chosen by a juror, and a People's Choice Award chosen by BWS patrons. Award amounts will vary. For exhibitions with participating artist under 18 a third award will be given, chosen strictly from the group of younger artists. So again, submit your application. Applications received from under 18 artists will ONLY be compared to other under 18 applicants.
