Artistic passion enriches our lives. To experience, to document, to express, to learn and to teach; this is what makes art intensely personal for artists as well as the art lover. The creative process is an intimate journey where we as artists respond to the external influences upon our lives. We then present a very personal idea or emotion to the viewer and if the viewer feels a strong connection to the work, it becomes more than the medium, it becomes more than the product. It becomes something larger, a seed of possibility. A seed which will enrich the life of the viewer and over time be integrated into the fine wine that is their life.

We may appreciate a work of art, the talent and skill involved in the creation of the piece. However, when we can form a connection, when we can relate our own life experiences to a work of art it becomes our inspiration, our motivation and connects us on some level with another human being. And that my friends, is a wonderful thing that we can never have too much of.
